For each comment or suggested edit that you would like to add, please create a bullet point under my signature, add your comment, then sign your name by adding four tildes (~) in a row and then click save. The four tildes will automatically be replaced with your name and time stamp when you save.
6.2: Inactive Chapters
Add: Every effort will be made to reach out to the chapter leader before a chapter is marked inactive. Chapter leaders will be given seven days to respond before the chapter is marked inactive.

Add: If a chapter leader of an inactive chapter, or one that is in danger of becoming inactive, is unwilling to hand over the leadership role or accept support, please refer to section 5.6 Disputes for resolution procedures.

Should we include more details on the process of leadership changes if a chapter is inactive, or appears inactive? We have received a number or requests recently to "restart a chapter" where the chapter is meeting minimal requirements, has leadership in place and sometimes a relatively active mailing list. Stronger language would be something like: "A request to restart a chapter will not be considered unless the chapter is officially marked inactive. We encourage members who are concerned about chapter inactivity to reach out to chapter leaders first and offer to help before contacting the global foundation to replace an existing leader."
