Michael Boelen is security researcher and has a specific interest in open source and security. To support these areas, he authored open source tools like Rootkit Hunter (malware detection) and Lynis (system auditing and hardening). Compliance, hardening and auditing of Unix and Linux based environments are his main specialties. When not working on these subjects, he likes biking, sport and leisure.
