Currently developing web applications at the Space Telescope Science Institute. (2014)
I've had a fairly wide variety in my career. The most notable is probably my time at Network Flight Recorder / NFR Security, where I worked on a network monitoring tool that was mostly used for intrusion detection. Other things worth mentioning are some time working on the Guantlet Firewall (with TIS), embedded programming for a microgravity payload in the Space Shuttle (Zeno), and a satellite communication system.
I've been in computing since the 1970's.
