Web Application Security Presales Consultant - London
Job Description
The applicant will assist the sales team by performing the following functions:
• Presentation and Demonstration of new security product
• Evangelism of web application security including blogging, speaking at events and authoring white papers
• Fielding technical questions both in and out of meetings plus pre & post sales & support
• Installation and training of the product plus web application security consultancy
Qualifications & Experience
• Application penetration testing and application source code review
• Vulnerability and penetration assessments on Internet exposed systems
• Applying appropriate exploits to gain access, and expand access to remote systems
• Development and/or source code review experience in C/C++, C#, VB.NET, ASP, PHP, or Java
• Strong Unix, Windows and networking security skills
• Familiarity with general application and network security concepts
• Excellent teaming and communication skills
The following skills are not required from applicants but would be considered a plus:
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related major
• Manual penetration testing experience above and beyond running automated tools
• Experience developing custom scripts or tools used for vulnerability scanning and identification
