Allen is a security careerist with nearly 20 years IT experience and has responsibility for protecting the assets of a $482 billion company, operating at 12,000+ locations in 27 countries, with more than 2.2 million associates worldwide.
Allen is responsible for reducing risk, protecting assets, and stopping bad actors from stealing data. He does this by conducting penetration tests, simulating real-world cyber attacks conditions, and helping to deploy mitigating controls which can be added to the robust security control portfolio already protecting Walmart. Allen draws experience from a diverse set of previous roles, which includes leading and supervising large teams, multi-team management, conducting risk assessments, compliance audits, vulnerability management, code development, and both architecture and devops for one of the worlds largest active directory deployments.
