Writing about myself is hard for me. I studied electrical engineering in college and started working as a web developer after graduating. After a few years of J2EE development, I switched to the systems side and started getting familiar with servers, operating systems, networking and computer system security. I have been a systems administrator for almost 10 years.

Aside from work, I like brewing and beer tasting. My other interests are climbing rock walls and playing tennis. I also love surfing even though I have never done it. I would like to, but I've somehow not been able to make it happen in 40 years. I like watching world cup and premier league soccer. Liverpool are my favorite team even though off late they rarely seem to do well. I live in Austin, TX with my girlfriend who's a database administrator. We communicate through our project manager, an aging German Shepherd that we both adore.
