Susam Pal has worked for 7 years in the SIEM space as a lead developer of RSA enVision and RSA Security Analytics at RSA Security where he developed various event collection services and agents as well as parsing and indexing components. Prior to that he worked for about 3 years in the PKI space as a security specialist at Infosys where he developed digital signature and trusted time stamping frameworks for Finacle e-Banking suite of products.
Independent Security Research
Early in his career, Susam has been an independent hobbyist security researcher credited with the full disclosures of CVE-2006-2003, CVE-2006-4110/BID 19447 and WHID 2006-27.
Open Source
As an open source contributor, Susam developed NTLM, Digest and Basic authentication features for Apache Nutch, an open source search engine and contributed to kickstarting the WASC Script Mapping project.
