CGI – Security Network Engineer Level II, Phoenix Arizona 07/2013 - Present Provides Cloud infrastructure services to include consulting, engineering, and management for over 75 clients. Daily duties include design, implementation, and management of Fortinet Firewalls, Cisco ASA, Juniper SA4500s FIPs appliances, RSA Authentication Manager, Cisco Switches/Routers in a data center environment. Participates in multi-vendor and multi-client design projects.


Information Assurance Officer, Fort Bliss,Texas 07/2011 – 07/2013 Served as an Information Assurance Officer (IASO) for the 86th Expeditionary Signal Battalion Regional Network Control Center (RNCC); responsible for the planning and implementing of secure strategic and tactical communications throughout Fort. Bliss, Texas. • Managed communication security (COMSEC) distribution for several (500+) organizations, enabling secure internet protocol (SIPNET) communications for countless missions. • Built and maintained a mesh topology network for 23 different countries, 45,000 users, 900 routers and switches, in combat operations. • Designed and implemented a standard operating procedure (SOP) for best practices on issuing, distribution, and recover/destruction of COMSEC, cryptographic, and tactical network devices for an organization (500+) • Provided technical expertise; management and guidance for securing US DoD Networks and support for over 2,000 end users. Overall in charge of change configuration, network growth and development. Managed ACS 4x/5x servers, network security, access control lists (ACL), annual information awareness training for a team of 14+. • During a 2-year period managed a 4 personnel on the design, engineer, and implementation of a secure enterprise network that provided digital and voice communications for a Homeland Defense Mission.

INDEPENDENT IT CONTRACTOR, El Paso, Texas 01/2011 – 02/2013 Provided a wide range of IT services in the southwest region. As well as serving as a Field Support Engineer (FSE) to multiple clients. • Designed, configured, and tested computer hardware. Wireless networking, Operating system & software installs. Provides remote setup and troubleshooting for multiple Cisco Catalyst Switches (2960s, 3600xl, 2560s, and 3750s). Experience with configuring HP and Brocade Switches through the command line interface. • Provided troubleshooting, DEMARC extensions, turn-ups, and customer-premises installs for Vital Network, CenturyLink, and AT&T.

INFORMATION MANAGEMENT OFFICER, Fort Benning, Georgia 07/2002 - 07/2011 Proudly served with the 75th Ranger Regiment, 3rd Ranger Battalion as the led network and systems administrator. The experience provided a strong basis of resiliency and intestinal fortitude to accomplish any task. • Managed an IT Helpdesk that included; 10 military personnel, and 2 civilian contractors who provided seamless communication support for 600+ end users, 1,800 information systems, and 12 enterprise servers. • Advised/trained IT Personnel on technical skills which enhanced their ability to support their customers across three major DoD networks; including 2x top secret networks. • Performed remarkable work while under intense, rapid, dangerous conditions overseas. Overall responsible for $4.2 Million dollars of information technology equipment for a 3-year period.
