As a Senior Member at a Fortune 20 telecommunications company, Rob McGregor is a considered a subject matter expert [SME] and primary authority for advice, consultation, and assistance in the areas of security architecture, systems auditing, security tools, and malicious code review/investigations. Additionally, McGregor was one of the first security professionals to travel the United States demonstrating exactly how hackers hack in order to provide the knowledge transfer and education that industry needed to see just how intruders abuse their networks, systems, and applications. Prior to his current role, McGregor served as the leader of the Exploit Management Team [EMT] at CFC/BoA. He also served as a Senior Consultant/Investigator at Computer Associates conducting network forensics investigations working with the well known NSA forensics tool Silent Runner. McGregor has also served as the securtiy practice manager at VeriSign in which he created the VIPER team which functioned to conduct ethical hacking services and forensics invetigations.
