Rohit Sethi is an application security expert with focus on Java/JEE security. He works at Security Compass where he is the director of professional services. He is responsible for managing Security Compass' internationally renowned consultants on cutting-edge consulting and training engagements across North America and around the world. He helps lead development and instruction of the SANS Institute's Secure Coding in Java class (DEV 541).

Rohit has delivered talks or training sessions at the RSA Conference in San Francisco; CSI National in Washington DC; CSI SX in Las Vegas; State of New York Cyber Security conference in Albany; MISTI Infosec World in Orlando; SANS Conferences in Las Vegas, Toronto, Orlando, and Washington DC; Shmoocon in Washington DC; and several others.

Rohit has written articles on aspect-oriented programming and security, application classification, and centralized logging for the Web Application Security Consortium and Security Focus. He has been interviewed and quoted by Computer World and IT World Canada.

Rohit holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with Software Engineering Specialization from the University of Western Ontario in Canada. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP), and a Sun Certified Java Programmer.
