Nikolaos Papatheodoulou holds a Diploma in Informatics & MM from Technological Educational Institute of Patras and a M.Sc. at Security of Digital Systems section of Technology Education and Digital Systems of University of Piraeus. The results of his diploma thesis entitled "Architecture & System Design for Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting Services"​ presented at the conference of the IEEE, EUROCON 2009 in St. Petersburg, Russia. His research interests include the fields "Information Security"​, "Social Engineering"​. He is a member of IEEE (Region 8) and IEEE Greece GOLD Affinity Group.
