I've been a Unix programmer/developer/admin for a long time, starting with Unix version 6 on my college's PDP11/45. I'm an open source/Linux advocate who's slowly overcoming the anti BSD attitude that prevailed at AT&T IS. I'm exploring embedded systems but am slow to adopt them until there's sufficient security, having been attacked and hacked enough to show it's a real threat to everyone, even ME!
