I am Md. Jahangir Alam, a Computer Science & Engineering graduate currently working for NRB Commercial Bank Ltd. in IT Audit. After being graduated from Islamic University, Kushtia, Bangladesh I started my career at Bangladesh Election Commission, as a Technical Expert. Later on I joined ONE Bank Ltd. to its IT Division. There I got many opportunities to work on ATM Switching System, Card Management System, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, and Core Banking System Implementation. From my early age I was interested in Information Security. Based on my previous experience & interest on Information Security, I got an opportunity at Prime Bank Limited as an Information Security Officer to its Information Security Division. I got the actual InfoSec working environment here and work on IS Risk Management, IS Governance, etc. Having core CSE academic background and experience, my personal thirst for Information Security has enabled me to become an IT Security professional, having in depth knowledge of ISO 27001, COBIT, ITIL etc. Currently I am planning for CISA and CISSP credentials.
