Programming Languages: Current Microsoft programming languages include C#, VB.NET, JavaScript, jQuery, and jQuery UI (JavaScript, jQuery, and jQuery UI included in Visual Studio packages and solutions). Current experience in Web and Windows forms applications that utilized ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, SOAP/REST Web Services, Windows Services, WCF Services, and WPF in VS 2012/2013 expertise. Past experience includes .NET Framework 1.0, 1.1, 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, MASM assembler, C++, C, PASCAL, FORTRAN, PowerBuilder, ASP, VB4/5/6, Visual InterDev, VBA (VB Script), and COBOL (Tandem TBOL).
Distributed Application Architectural Design: 2-Tier through N-Tier client/server systems designed using classical waterfall software development life cycles (SDLC), Rapid Application Development (RAD), Rational Unified Process (RUP) and CASE tools using the Uniform Modeling Language (UML), and IDEF0 and IDEF1 SDLCs with Systems Architect CASE tool. Most recent includes implementing a Microsoft .NET Model View Controller application architecture that utilizes Gang-of-Four (GoF) and other object-oriented class patterns. Now using Team Foundation Server 2012/2013 with SCRUM ALM.
Databases: Experience includes Oracle, SQL Server, Informix, Ingres, and Access database design and implementation that required at least 3NF/4NF normalization steps, entity relationship diagrams (ERDs), query and non-query stored procedures, triggers, constraints, and transactional skills.
Project Documentation: Experience with documentation of Joint Application Development (JAD) interviews for requirements gathering, feasibility studies, specifications writing, project proposals, project management PERT and GANNT charting, UML diagrams, unit and system testing for quality assurance, test cases, user manuals, extensive security audits, and interpersonal communications. Current experience with Team Foundation Server, Visual SourceSafe, and many other types of project code source control. Have extensive development standards documentation that now includes SCRUM and AGILE.
Other: Extensive experience with Windows 2003, 2008, 2012 Internet Information System installation, setup, configuration, and management. Wrote Tennessee State training coursework for .NET.
