Over five (5) years of experience as senior systems automation technology specialist, managing team responsible for system design and development, software evaluation, selection and implementation. Over three (3) years of experience as lead systems analyst for varied computer applications in the government industry, particularly that for the Bureau of Customs and Philippine Economic Zone Authority. Over three (3) years of experience as lead systems development and technology support group. Exercise control and supervision over Development and Technology Support Group. Set up standards and templates for the development, quality assurance and maintenance effort, using industry accepted norms. Direct the tracking of emerging technologies and the research on the capabilities of new products. Advise the customers and the Application and Implementation Team on enhancements available for existing systems using leading-edge technology. Allocate development and technology support resources for project teams. Acquire and manage development sub-contracts with third party suppliers. Plan and execute training programs for specialist staff to keep them abreast of new technology. Ensure quality standards are met in the areas of system administration, quality assurance and development. Recommend equipment and software upgrade or retirement depending on monitored usage. Provide consultancy services to other IT-related projects
