Chris Rossi provides expert-level IT systems and security consulting services for a variety of health care, federal, municipal, and private organizations, including participating in security audits, performance assessments, application penetration testing, and other large-scale projects. Chris also focuses on providing best-practice guidance and assistance to clients in the ever-changing realm of Web application security. Prior to joining AppliedTrust, Chris performed on-site vendor security assessments and compliance assessments as a risk consultant for Protiviti in Philadelphia, Penn. Chris has a degree in Information Systems from Drexel University.

Toward the end of his high school years Chris became interested in the area of IT, and before long it had eclipsed his interest in the performing arts. By the time he graduated from Drexel University with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, his dream job had become working as an IT consultant – a dream he has fulfilled right here at Applied Trust. As a senior engineer, Chris specializes in web application security, security audits, performance assessments, and disaster-recovery planning. Prior to joining AppliedTrust, Chris performed on-site vendor security assessments as a risk consultant for Protiviti in Philadelphia, PA.

In his spare time, Chris enjoys taking advantage of the mountains any way he can, be it snowboarding, mountain biking, or the occasional hike. He also has the travel bug and is looking forward to someday visiting New Zealand, Italy, and India.
