When Chris was growing up, he wanted to be an actor. When his family moved to New Mexico after his freshman year in high school his acting dreams briefly faded, but they were renewed upon another move, this time to Durango, Colorado, where he got involved in high school theater, speech, and debate.

Toward the end of his high school years Chris became interested in the area of IT, and before long it had eclipsed his interest in the performing arts. By the time he graduated from Drexel University with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, his dream job had become working as an IT Security professional – a dream he has fulfilled right here at Applied Trust. As Director of Application Security, Chris specializes in web application security, security audits, performance assessments, and disaster-recovery planning. Prior to joining AppliedTrust, Chris performed on-site vendor security assessments as a risk consultant for Protiviti in Philadelphia, PA.

In his spare time, Chris enjoys taking advantage of the mountains any way he can, be it snowboarding, mountain biking, or the occasional hike. He also has the travel bug and is looking forward to someday visiting New Zealand, Italy, and India.
