Alberto Daniel Hill has four years of experience in the Cryptocurrencies field, three years of experience working with Blockchain technology and he has been involved as a team member of an ICO released in 2017 that raised almost 20 million USD, which was UQUIDCOIN. Right now, he is involved as team member for two upcoming ICOs, he has the position of “Information Security Expert” in the project "Encrybit" and “Chief Security Officer” in the project “EraSwap”.

Alberto is currently focusing in the Blockchain technology, Crypto Currencies (including Bitcoins) and FinTech sector. After quitting his full-time job as information security professional for the largest company in Uruguay, he founded Crypto Currencies Service, INC in 2016 and is currently working on several projects to use environmentally friendly energy for cryptocurrency-mining.

He was a speaker at several conferences related to Information Security and Fintech in Uruguay and South America, speaking in most of the cases in topics related to cryptocurrencies and security.

Since the end of June 2018, he started working with a Brazilian professional in order to launch a very ambitious ICO in that country.

At the same times he is doing all these things, he is also writing a couple of books, one on blockchain technology and his experience with ICOs. The other one is related to an experience he never expected in his life and that changed his life from one day to another, the book is intended to be a lesson of many things, but above everything, a lesson of resilience, and how to have it all, lose everything in one second, and after that, have a successful life anyway.

Alberto Daniel Hill is a computer engineer with more than 20 years of experience linked to Information Security (Consulting, IT security, Computer Forensics, Ethical Hacking, Information Security). He had worked in many large companies in Uruguay and provided services for companies in other countries. Authorities probably consider Alberto the most famous hacker from Uruguay.

He has a specialization in ISO/IEC-27000, also on Ethical Hacking and approved several courses related to a wide range of IT Security fields such as computer forensics, as well as an ISO/IEC-20000 specialization. Regarding international certifications, he is PMP-certified and has been leading many Information Security Projects since 2011.

He has the Cybersecurity Fundamentals Certificate (CSX) from ISACA, organization that awarded him with a PLATINIUM membership recognition. The certification in Cybersecurity demonstrates knowledge aligned with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE), which is compatible with global cybersecurity issues, activities and job roles.

Alberto is part of team of volunteers of the chapter OWASP Uruguay since 2012.
