Name: OWASP OpenESSS Project (home page) Purpose: Very often organizations receive requests from partners and customers for their internal software security policies / standards and recent third-party vulnerability assessment report. While third-party penetration test reports might provide a clean bill of health, no vulnerabilities, this does little satisfy concerns that the software was designed and developed in a well-constructed manner. It's that part the ESSS series of documents addresses.
