Currently Working On
- AppSec EU Social Media:
- For this week, I focused on generating tweets for the conference. I will continue to push out tweets up until the conference.
- All of my tweets start going out at 10am London time, which is 2am PST. Laura has asked me to send tweets out at this time so they are reaching the target European audience at a reasonable hour, rather than in the middle of the night.
- Part-Time Work:
- This Friday I met (via GoToMeeting) with Kelly and Kate to discuss some extra work I will be doing outside of my internship. Starting soon, I will be working with Kelly doing work with sponsorship. I'm excited to start working on this.
- Women in AppSec:
- Monday was the deadline for all Women in AppSec applicants. We had seven people send in their letters of recommendation and a total of 14 applicants. The winner will be announced as soon as the committee makes a decision.
- The Connector Tweets:
- A really quick assignment, the OWASP Connector came out this week and I sent out tweets promoting it.
Lessons Learned
- I really need a stable internet connection to do some of my work.
Additional Comments
- This was a slow and hectic week. I spend the entire week with my family in Ohio, so I was traveling and visiting and was not the most available person. This will not be the case next week.
