Konstantinos Papapanagiotou
About Kostas: Dr Konstantinos Papapanagiotou has been an OWASP volunteer for more than a decade. He is leading the OWASP Greek Chapter since 2005, having organized several meetings, conferences and workshops. In 2012 he organized the OWASP AppSec Research (EU) 2012 conference that took place in Athens, Greece with more than 40 speakers and 300 attendees. Konstantinos has always been passionate about education. In this context he is co-leading the OWASP Hackademic Challenges project which is being used by several universities around the world. Furthermore he has been the org admin for the Google Summer of Code, raising the number of participating students from 4 to 16 in 2014. Recently, he proposed a similar program for OWASP, the "OWASP Summer Code Sprint" which attracted 8 students from around the world that are currently working on OWASP projects.
Konstantinos is currently Information Security Sales Manager at OTE SA, the largest telco in Greece, member of the Deutsche Telekom group. He has more than 12 years of experience in information security both as a corporate consultant and as a researcher, having led several projects in Greece, Cyprus, the Blakans and the Middle East.
