I have been involved in IT for my entire professional career. Over the last years I have worked in information security gaining experience in different businesses both the public and private sectors. My experience includes work for companies in banking, finance, software development, IT and utilities. With both a solid technical background and high awareness of business issues I am able to talk technically and also to communicate very effectively with non-technical and business users. I have specialised over the last years in roles as a dedicated information security consultant. My current role is as Head of Threat and Vulnerability Management. I have been responsible for multiple phases of the project life cycle from initial business needs analysis to technical implementation of solutions. My techincal consultancy experience including defining strategy, architecture, security, policies and security initiatives (roadmap). Responsible for the day to day monitoring of security and security risks with reporting of efficiencies/recommendations to the business on a large scale of application owned by Thomas Cook Group. Providing leadership role in the development, implementation and maintenance of a company-wide information security infrastructure both internally and externally and ensure appropriate control objectives for system integrity, availability and reliability, confidentiality, accountability and assurance within the context of Thomas Cook Group risk tolerance.
