Eng-Dr Nihel Ben Youssef is Assistant Professor IT Security.
She holds an Engineering Degree in Computer Networks and Telecommunications, a Master Degree in Telecommunications and Ph.D. in Information and Communication Technology - Computer security speciality in Tunisia.
She's been teaching since 2007 in Engineering cycle and Professional Masters at public and private engineering schools Web Application and Database security, Security Audit( ISO 27001) and Risk management, Infrastructure Security .
She is actually supervising PhD Thesis in Formal verification of Security Devices and SDN security challenges.
Nihel is IBM Security Intelligence Specialist (QRADAR SIEM), LPIC certifications and Ethical Hacking Trainer.
In 2003, Nihel was a founding member of Securinets, National Computer Security Foundation in Tunisia. Since 2007, She was mentor of Securinets clubs and has Co-organized National Day of the Computer Security (Securiday) and other Cyber Security events. Security Themes treated to date include: Botnets, Computer Forensics, BigData security, Data Protection Strategies, IOT security, Cloud Security, ebanking security etc.
Nihel is member of the C2iMI (Internet and Informatics certificate. Engineer Profession) National Certification Committee, Information Security Policy Section. UVT (Virtual university of tunis).
She is member of working Group on the technical constraints of digital archiving and lawyers (Secure archived Data). E-OMED (The open digital space for the Mediterranean) & UVT (Virtual university of tunis)
Since 2017, She is the IEEE industry Ambassador in IEEE Tunisia Section-Region 8(MENA).
