Ian manages the introduction of new companies, technologies and concepts to the organization by analyzing business needs and industry trends and building business cases on how a specific technology can solve a business need. He also works with architecture and development to produce demonstrable implementations of proposed technologies; manages new technology developments through an incubation period before transitioning to development. In addition, he manages the definition, implementation and evolution of the enterprise architecture involving its component architectures (i.e., application, database, information) and their proper integration.
