aving over 20 years of security experience, Guy Denton (CISSP, CISM, QC, QSA and CRISC) is recognized as a global thought leader in the security area, complex ethical hacking and application level security assessments and secure application coding, security architecture design and is sought after by many large customers involved in developing solutions for complex security architecture engagements.

Prior to this, at IBM, he was selected to head up a global IBM assignment role. As part of this assignment, Mr. Denton was personally requested by the MTN CSO, to lead up resolving both security architecture and IT compliance management issues restricting the customer’s future growth at a global level for MTN, a large telecommunications company.

He was previously the global manager for the penetration testing and architecture design group within IBM’s Consulting IT Security practice. He led and managed the people in this world wide group covering both worldwide complex penetration testing and ethical hacking assessments of networks, buffer overflow injections and application level assessments. He wrote applications to teach IBM’s consultants on aspects of application assessments and code exploiting.

He was selected to be member of a senior IBM executive task force created to develop the global IBM security architecture to address IBM’ external security risks to IBM’s executive team and C level executives.

Guy has 6 patent pending applications on topic such as wireless intrusion detection techniques, power addressing protocols over wireless networks and secure data storage management.

He was selected to head up the security component of a high focus security high-end E-Commerce project in IBM related to a new marketing initiative generated by the IBM Chairman's office, as well as he headed up the security portion of the IBM SWAT teams on high end security concepts.
