I am currently an Information Security officer for the Department of Veterans Affairs at a VHA facility. I was formerly an Information Systems Security officer for the Department of the Treasury, Financial Management Services with a combined 10 years’ experience. Former USN, Active duty exposure to police officer training learned I did not want to be a police officer but valued the training and exposure while serving in the role. Member of SWCC Units, managed to travel to over 40 countries serving on naval ships, perpetual interest in how systems / people / stuff works and the ins and outs of system security options.
