I have worked in development, quality assurance, systems architecture and even a bit in operations. I have held leadership positions throughout my career, spanning from management consulting (KPMG IT, before it became Bearing Point), to Fortune 100 (EDS, McKesson, Wells Fargo) to startups. . I can lead with a strong hand and yet be able to gain consensus across disparate groups and personalities. I have been the change agent for several of my employers, instituting best practice policies and procedures.
I have set quality and development policies, managed budgets, even participated with investor presentations and presented industry analyst briefings. I have moved between development, quality, and systems architecture throughout my career. I have managed SDLCs ranging from waterfall to Agile to hybrid forms continued success and aplomb. I have established Quality Assurance departments, testing centers of excellence, built test infrastructures, worked on developing a testing practice, authored and enforced quality policies and procedures, and still tested, at Fortune 100 and startup companies with great success. As part of my Quality organizations, I have been responsible for release and deployment management and processes.
