Develops and conducts Information Assurance Programs for the oganization's IT Department and subordinate activities. Coordinates this effort with higher organizations. Manages and coordinates development of Information Assurance/ Cybersecurity standards to be used in a variety of geographically dispersed locations. Works with functional managers to evaluate the impact of proposed standards and procedures on accomplishment of activity goals and objectives. Validate the architectural design, integration, installation, configuration, testing, and administration of IS and capabilities to support the scanning, monitoring, and reporting of Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVA). Enforces IA policy, guidance, and training requirements in accordance with policies. Perform Certification and Accreditation (C&A) analysis which includes reviewing C&A documentation, and identify that system operations, system architecture, accreditation boundaries, and security controls are properly addressed and information systems comply with security requirements and established security policies and guidelines.
