Dirk De Maeyer is Manager Advisor, IT Advisory - Information Protection and Business Resilience at KPMG Advisory. He also is the National IT Security Officer and Data Protection Officer for the KPMG Member Firms in Belgium. In this latter role he is executing a Data Privacy project for enhancing the controls with respect to Data Privacy.
Prior to joining KPMG Dirk was Information Risk Officer at ING Insurance, and executed different functions at Utimaco Safeware, a company developing and selling security software and appliances.
