Welcome to the Germany chapter homepage. The chapter lead is Tobias Gondrom. Chapter Board members are: Thomas Schreiber, Holger Heimann and Boris Hemkemeier.

Participation

OWASP Foundation (Overview Slides) is a professional association of global members and is open to anyone interested in learning more about software security. Local chapters are run independently and guided by the Chapter_Leader_Handbook. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit professional association your support and sponsorship of any meeting venue and/or refreshments is tax-deductible. Financial contributions should only be made online using the authorized online chapter donation button. To be a SPEAKER at ANY OWASP Chapter in the world simply review the speaker agreement and then contact the local chapter leader with details of what OWASP PROJECT, independent research or related software security topic you would like to present on.

Next OWASP German Chapter Meeting - February 20th in Darmstadt

The next chapter meeting will be hosted at CAST in Darmstadt.
This time the focus is on technical presentations and discussion.

Preliminary Agenda (further topics welcome until latest February 7th, final agenda will be published on Feb-9)
All four technical presentation slots will consist of 20-30 minute presentation and 15 minute disucssion.

• 3. (11:30 - 12:30) First technical presentation "Best Practices beim Einsatz einer Web Application Firewall 1.0" (Wer ?)

• 5. (13:15 - 14:00) Second technical presentation "Secure Coding and Development Guidelines (part of CLASP)" (Tobias)
• 6. (14:00 - 14:45) Third technical presentation
• 7. (14:45 - 15:00) Coffee Break
• 8. (15:00 - 15:45) Fourth technical presentation "Evaluation Criteria der OWASP in Bezug auf den europäischen bzw. D-A-CH Markt beisteuern."

Chapter Meeting on September 7th 2007 in Frankfurt/Main

After two years of absence the German Chapter has been restarted. The chapter meeting was on September 7th 2007, 15:00 - 18:00.

This first chapter meeting had as its main goal the re-initiation of the German chapter and to start work on projects. Talks and presentations are secondary and will receive more focus at subsequent meetings.
