Daniel turns risk into opportunity, he does this by applying his experience gained from multiple industries, including Government & Defence, Financial Services and Maritime over the past 12 years.

Daniel finds Security Architecture particularly rewarding as it allows him to shape the vision and direction of business. Daniel enjoys designing and implementing architectural frameworks that embed security efficiently, helping business achieve results, while still providing the appropriate level of security.

From an early age he was drawn to understanding how everything worked and even now still finds himself attempting to understand why it works that way and whether it can be made to work differently, mostly more efficiently. This is often referred to as the 'hacker' or 'engineering' mindset.

His love for the outdoors helps him focus and inspires him to implement security efficiently, wherever required. Daniel is a passionate cyclist and finds that this allows for an increased level of clarity when contemplating specific problems.

Daniel holds several endorsements/qualifications including: SABSA Chartered Foundation (SCF) Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN) GIAC Web Application Penetration Tester (GWAPT) Certified Ethical Hacker (CEHv8) C GDPR P (Certified GDPR Practicioner) C GDPR F (Certified GDPR Foundation) ITIL Foundation

Daniel believes it's the why of what we all do that matters, and inspires others to discover and follow their passion.
