It was 10 years ago when I ventured into the enterprising and challenging world of Information security and today it is a passion. With close to 550 high-end projects tucked away to my credit, the pathway to becoming an Information Security Specialist has seen me exercise my skills as an analyst, consultant and in fact lead designations.


My portfolio also includes the faculties of being a strategist and consultant. Most often being a specialist also encompasses the need to promote a definitive and progressive strategy. Today, as part of my profile I am a prolific Information Security Strategist and GRC Consultant. I offer my expertise both as a strategist and consultant for Preparatory, Advisory and Auditory services in the areas of Governance, Risks and Compliance.


Further, with the sensitivity of information and also high-end clientele, over the years I have expanded my competency levels in combating Cybercrime. With an innovative and entrepreneurial approach, my work on highly sensitive projects has been authoritative and achieved a high success rate.


With a significant rise in the need for Information Security, my work is spread across leading industries - FMCG, Government, Financial, Fortune 500, Infrastructure/MSS and Risk Management sectors. The significant facets of my work include creation and deployment of testing methodologies, protecting web applications, mobile applications, networks, systems and information assets for diverse companies and organizations.

FMCG Sector: Tested secured product portals, promotional online services, e-commerce portals, Mobile Applications, Internal Web Application, Internal and External Networks, Systems, APIs, Web Services, Social Applications like Facebook, Orkut, MySpace, Twitter etc.

Government Sector: Assisted in the development and launch of secure, recoverable and fault-tolerant systems for data access and identity management for state government departments along with Social Engineering awareness programs. Planned and Executed sanctioned Defensive and Offensive Security Projects.

Financial Sector: Led business-critical information security initiatives for large financial institutions like banks and stock exchanges.

Fortune 500 Sector: Modernized outdated information security awareness programs for several F500 corporations, and delivered training on crucial new infosec policies, procedures and technologies.

Risk Management: Protected vulnerable networks following detailed risk assessments. Guided cross-functional teams in the design, validation, acceptance testing and implementation of secure, networked communications across remote sites for several key clients.
