I am an Information Technology risk management, audit and compliance leader with strategic IT management experience advising global cross-functional IT and business leaders and providing assurance activities in support of corporate initiatives and regulatory requirements.

I have experience in delivering cost effective audit plans and risk management strategies for large, complex and globally-dispersed information technology environments using both internal and co-sourced staff.

I prefer to partner and collaborate with IT and business leaders as well as external auditors and regulators to ensure strategies and solutions create business value, while meeting risk management needs and regulatory obligations. Under my leadership, I have developed teams of technically skilled assurance professionals that deliver timely governance, risk assessment/advice and controls assurance with the same collaborative style and focus on value.

I have broad experience in the global healthcare manufacturing, insurance and retail pharmacy industries as well as unique personal experiences as a successful entrepreneur in business roles as diverse as being the executive chef/owner of a restaurant and the co-leader of a successful family-owned retail tile business.
