OWASP Foundation (Overview Slides) is a professional association of global members and is open to anyone interested in learning more about software security. Local chapters are run independently and guided by the Chapter_Leader_Handbook. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit professional association your support and sponsorship of any meeting venue and/or refreshments is tax-deductible. Financial contributions should only be made online using the authorized online chapter donation button. Hackathon
This months Christmas special will be a little different from previous events.
With the help of the guys from Pen Test Partners we will be having an IoT hackathon, so bring along a laptop.
You will have the chance to investigate the security of a number of IoT devices such as the infamous iKettle, iCoffee and My Friend Kayla, as well as some some surprise devices. If you have an IoT device you'd like to take a look at, then feel free to bring it along.
Tickets will be made available once the venue has confirmed our booking.
