To be a SPEAKER at ANY OWASP Chapter in the world simply review the speaker agreement and then contact the local chapter leader with details of what OWASP PROJECT, independent research or related software security topic you would like to present on.

OWASP San Diego – Dissecting the BEAST
The Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) Chapter in San Diego is convening to discuss the latest developments in the OWASP organization, and new ideas in leading-edge secure web development. Join us in welcoming Tom Spencer of Qualcomm who will break down the evolution of BEAST, explain its cryptographic & browser mechanics in detail, and look at how the industry has responded. Whether you’re a seasoned security professional, development manager, or an executive with focus on mitigating IT risk, this event will certainly provide insight on implementing and mitigating attacks against browser encryption.
