An experienced software engineer that possesses a great deal of experience in building web applications using a variety of languages and platforms. I've always been interested in information security and have always been involved in the security aspect of building software systems including code auditing, penetration testing, and building security models for the software to be built. I also gained a respectable amount of experience in information security as a system administrator at the Egyptian Armed Forces building a reliable security policy to defend the confidential information stored on my unit's servers. Currently, I'm heavily researching in computer security advising my current company on how to harden their network/systems, getting ready to get certified as a Security+ professional, and going for a Master's in information security at University College, London, UK. It would be a great opportunity to learn and share information about web application security issues via embarking upon OWASP.
