Local chapters are run independently and guided by the Chapter_Leader_Handbook. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit professional association your support and sponsorship of any meeting venue and/or refreshments is tax-deductible. Financial contributions should only be made online using the authorized online chapter donation button. To be a SPEAKER at ANY OWASP Chapter in the world simply review the speaker agreement and then contact the local chapter leader with details of what OWASP PROJECT, independent research or related software security topic you would like to present on.

Local News

Our next chapter meeting in Kansas City will be held the evening of June 13. Here are the details.

When: Wednesday, June 13, 2007, 6:30-8:30 pm.
Where: FishNet Security at 1627 Main Street, KC, MO, 7th floor   
(this is the 12 story building on northeast corner of 17th and Main)
Notes:
- A FishNet Security employee will be available to escort you up to the 7th floor
- Parking is available in the lot on the west side of Main, or anywhere along 17th Street

6:45 - 7:30 pm -- Firefox Security Utilities (Jake Reynolds)
7:30 - 7:35 pm -- break
7:35 - 8:15 pm -- Evaluating Web App Firewalls (Barry Archer)
8:15 - 8:30 pm -- wrap-up, miscellaneous discussions
