Tom started with technology in 1986 as a SYSOP for a 516/BBS and writing code for fun. He has over a decade of cross-platform work in Application Security, Network and Wireless for many clients in industries such as Government, Banking, Entertainment & Manufacturing worldwide. He holds industry certifications including: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP #54039), National Security Agency, INFOSEC Assessment Methodology (NSA-IAM), Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH), ISACA Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) #518267 and is a member of ISSA #602855. In addition, he also holds many product focused certifications for products and tools that he has hands-on experience with building mousetraps.

The OWASP NY/NJ Metro chapter has over 1000 members on its mailing list and is the largest and most active OWASP chapter in the world currently.
