Born in Michigan but raised in Florida, I grew up around IT; my Dad started out as a programmer and retired the equivalent of a CIO. I started my IT career at the beginning of 2000 taking on support roles as well as multiple application and system administrative roles. I have always been able to advance quickly due to my reputation for excellent customer service and troubleshooting skills. In early 2007, I accepted a role to head up the support and management of Maverik’s corporate IT Infrastructure and Network. As of June 2012, I have taken on the assignment to create a new IT department. My new responsibilities include IT Security, Risk, Change, and Compliance Management.
