I obtained a M.Sc. degree in Engineering of Computing Systems at Politecnico di Milano (Milan, Italy), where he was a member of the Computer Security Group, under advice from Stefano Zanero and Federico Maggi.
Since graduation, I'm working as a Security Researcher and Consultant at CEFRIEL, focusing my work across several aspects of computer security and activities intended both in the traditional sense (assessments, guidelines, policy definition, governance), but also in an innovative way (study of new trends of attacks and threats, identification of risks and opportunities related to new technologies).
In addition, I'm a contributor of the OWASP Project and a Technical Reviewer of some IEEE Journals. I currently hold the OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional) Certification. I have also both published and presented on many security conferences including ACSAC, CCS, DeepSEC, Bsides, and NATO's CYCON.
My research interests revolve around application security. This include, but is not limited to, web applications exploitation, Android malware, botnets, and web service and social network abuses.
