OWASP Foundation (Overview Slides) is a professional association of global members and is open to anyone interested in learning more about software security. Local chapters are run independently and guided by the Chapter_Leader_Handbook. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit professional association your support and sponsorship of any meeting venue and/or refreshments is tax-deductible. Financial contributions should only be made online using the authorized online chapter donation button. To be a SPEAKER at ANY OWASP Chapter in the world simply review the speaker agreement and then contact the local chapter leader with details of what OWASP PROJECT, independent research or related software security topic you would like to present on.

OWASP NZ Chapter planning and strategy for year 2007 - 12/12/2006
Leaders chapter met and discussed the planning and strategy for the NZ OWASP chapter. It has been decided to find a sponsor and do a press release in order to attract attention from the public, media and companies at the same time. This will help us to have more potential attendants since the first meeting.
Agreement with Sponsor and national press release programmed for February 2007 - 21/12/2006
A sponsor has been found and it will allow NZ Owasp chapter to use its facilities once a month. It has been planned to have the first meeting of the NZ OWASP chapter in February in order to enough time to organize with the sponsor, the media and the potential attendants.
