Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) with over 12 years of professional experience nationally and internationally. Have audited in the corporate & banking industry, higher education and local government.
Currently serves as the IT Compliance Officer at New Mexico State University to ensure IT compliance with applicable State and Federal Laws & Regulations, NMSU Policies and Procedures, and to recommend the implementation of best computing and management practices. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to conducting University-wide IT risk assessments, promoting IT & data security related training and awareness programs, and to monitor University systems via auditing and compliance activities in support of the University's mission and goals.
