Bruce Toland, Network Administrator II, has been with Allete for over 5 years. With more than 25 years of industry experience, Bruce brings to the table a vast body of knowledge regarding Computer Networks and their security. Bruce’s network security experience includes several industry certifications, including CheckPoint Certified Security Administrator. CheckPoint is a high end firewall used by security focused organizations such as the NSA (National Security Administration) as well being used widely in many fortune 500 companies. Bruce has also obtained a Cisco Security Specialist I, which focuses on analyzing and configuring security equipment to protect end users from the Internet. Bruce has also earned certification for general networking expertise from Cisco as a Cisco Certified Network Associate.
