The meeting will occur this Thursday, June 14th and begin at 6:00 PM.
 
The meeting will be hosted in the Symantec main cafeteria in Mountain View at the following address:

The speakers are AJ Dexter and Carl Schwarcz.
 
 
 
AJ will speak about Mobile Apps and Mobile Payments Infrastructure
 
Carl will speak about BSIMM – the Build Software In Maturity Model. This is an open source tool, developed by Cigital and Fortify, by which companies can measure their secure development maturity level based on data from peer companies.  The idea is to collect data from as many companies as possible to advance a collective understanding about how secure development is being done.

Welcome to the Bay Area chapter homepage.


Participation

OWASP Foundation (Overview Slides) is a professional association of global members and is open to anyone interested in learning more about software security. Local chapters are run independently and guided by the Chapter_Leader_Handbook. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit professional association your support and sponsorship of any meeting venue and/or refreshments is tax-deductible. Financial contributions should only be made online using the authorized online chapter donation button. To be a SPEAKER at ANY OWASP Chapter in the world simply review the speaker agreement and then contact the local chapter leader with details of what OWASP PROJECT, independent research or related software security topic you would like to present on.
