Brennan started with technology in 1983, this was the same year as [http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0086567/ WarGames] and armed with a Televideo 802H CP/M machine and later 8-Bit variants he was off to a past-time that later developed into a career in technology. He served with the United States Marines Corps until a career ending injury in 1991 and then focused dedicated his life to logic information security. After September 11th 2011 he was elected and served with the FBI Infragard program 2002-2004 focused on critical infrastructure protection. In 2004 he founded the [http://www.owasp.org/index.php/NYNJMetro OWASP New Jersey Chapter] that today includes [http://www.owasp.org/index.php/NYNJMetro NYC Metro] as a single chapter.  In 2007 Brennan was appointed by his application security peers to the OWASP International Board of Directors.
