Participation

OWASP Foundation (Overview Slides) is a professional association of global members and is open to anyone interested in learning more about software security. Local chapters are run independently and guided by the Chapter_Leader_Handbook. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit professional association your support and sponsorship of any meeting venue and/or refreshments is tax-deductible. Financial contributions should only be made online using the authorized online chapter donation button. To be a SPEAKER at ANY OWASP Chapter in the world simply review the speaker agreement and then contact the local chapter leader with details of what OWASP PROJECT, independent research or related software security topic you would like to present on.

2010/01/11 : OWASP Geneva, official sponsor of Insomni'hack 2010
The 3rd edition of Geneva's famous hacking competition Insomni'hack organized by SCRT will be held on January 22nd. As official partner, the Geneva OWASP chapter will setup an OWASP presentation desk where participants and visitors will have the possibility to get more information on OWASP's projects and events, and the local chapter activities. Please feel free to come visit us on January 22nd, registration to Insomni'hack is only required for participants at the hacking contest.

2010/03/04 : Geneva Application Security Meeting (OWASP Geneva chapter meeting, spring 2010)
Organized in partnership with OWASP Geneva and OpenID French Switzerland, the first Geneva Application Security Meeting event will strongly focus on strong authentication in today's web applications. Invited speakers will describe the current state of the technology and main actors of strong authentication in web applications. The conference will also host a strong authentication integration lab (free access) for all interested participants. Official links will be provided shortly.

Next Meetings

March 4th., Geneva Application Security Forum Next OWASP meeting will focus on strong authentication in web applications. It will be co-organized in partnership with the local OpenID chapter on March 4th. 2010 in Geneva. As usual for meetings, venue is free and open to all after registration.
