Agenda

Greg Pedley from IBM has kindly volunteered to present at the August chapter meeting. Below is a brief on Greg's presentation.

My name is Greg Pedley and I work for IBM. I have come to Australia from Canada where I had spent 4 years living and breathing web application security. I had become a part of the IBM Software Group via an acquisition of an organization called Watchfire, a leader in automation software. I intend to take a half hour of your time to discuss my experience within Web Application Security over the last 5+ years. I have a unique knowledge of this space from a sales perspective, but my intention is not to sell software. I'd like to have an open presentation / discussion about the progression of web application security, previous and current trends, black box vs. white box methods, etc.

I look forward to meeting everyone.
