We are forever looking for volunteers to present at the chapter meetings, so if you've seen something interesting or you have something to say, please let us know.

NEXT MEETING SCHEDULE: Thursday July 24th 5:30PM Start Time

Often, when we approach potential presenters, we tend to get the following response – “I don’t think my topic is interesting enough”.  We just want to stress that as long as the topic is security related – we’re all ears!  We’re just a bunch of nice people wanting to learn/share our knowledge of the security domain.  So if you would like to present or know of someone that does, please contact us.

It's time to get together and talk about our favourite topics again on Application Security.

Presentations must be vendor agnostic (no selling of products or services), and please review the Speaker Agreement linked above.
This time, i have something really interesting i want to share with all the Brisbane Chapter Members. With my job change i have been working on a new program called Business Software Assurance. This is a Maturity Model for organisations to adopt for application security and is something being promoted globally but also through OWASP. I love for everyone to come along and see what we have put together and talk a little about the model.

Also i am in the planning phase of the OWASP Conference for Asia Pacific in 2009 right now. So lets catch up on the status of that also. We should be finished up by 6:30PM.
