Mark graduated from the Dublin Institute of Technology with a first class honors BSc degree in Computing with First Class Honors. Mark went on in education to acquire a MSc degree in Information Security and Digital Forensics in the Institute of Technology Blanchardstown.
Currently completing an honors degree in Computing in DIT.

Mark founded the OWASP Security Shepherd Project straight from his BSc final year project in the Dublin Institute of Technology. This project is now been utilised by colleges across Europe to demonstrate and teach web application security concepts and testing techniques. Alongside a group of hardcore security enthusiasts, Mark co-founded the Irish Chapter of the Honeynet Project in October 2012. Mark operated das the CPO of the chapter and lead the development of the traditional capture the flag platform offerings they provided until April 2014. In May 2014, Mark joined the OWASP Ireland chapter board.

Mark currently works in the IBM Ethical Hacking Team and suffers from both a deep love/addiction to coffee and a reasonable amount of paranoia, as you would expect any professional in the security industry to stock.
