John is a Security Analyst and Researcher at Scytl Secure Electronic Voting, focuses on web-based and mobile application penetration testing to company products & security research related to ethical hacking techniques and methodologies.
His experiences focus on infrastructure administration and defense, forensic analysis, penetration testing and software development, with more than 7 years of experience in security consulting.
Prior to joining Scytl, John served as Security Consultant for several local security firms specialized in network penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, physical assessments, and social engineering.
He has been actively involved with the security community for several years and is the founder and leader of OWASP Peru Local Chapter and also holds the CPTE certification from Mile2 and CISA certification from ISACA.
